WORKING WITH THE HORSES

Working with horses is so special. Winston Churchill said it best when he said “There is something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside of man”.

So what does a healing session with one of my horses look like?

Well before I explain let me ask you a question. Would it be fair to say that when you are approached by another human being  you make an assumption of their intention based on the energy they are projecting ( What you feel) and their body language?

Horses do the same. In fact, this is how they survive. God created them this way and it is a beautiful thing to witness.

So, when you are in a session with a horse, they can sense what you may be projecting or even hiding based on how you move, how you look at them, speak to them and how your body language speaks to them.

Now here is the cool part, horses “mirror” that same message you quietly speak back to you. In order to survive, they relay on observation followed by questioning. What are you authentically saying?

As you venture into a session with one of my amazing horses, you self discover what may have become a stumbling block in your life.

My horses reveal and you discover your areas that may need to be released, forgiven or where growth is needed.

Let me share an example. A client enters the arena with the horse, I witness the horse walking far away from the client with minimal eye contact.  As the client proceeds to move the horse around the arena, the horse displays frustration and becomes more assertive driving the client into a corner where there is no boundary, no escape. The client looks out to me confused and angry.

So what just happened? The horse mirrored the clients thoughts and body language determining that the client  did not truly believe in  their ability to be a leader and had no boundaries. They became frustrated and so did the horse and everything shut down.

Can you see how what we can’t always see can show up while working with the horses? It actually is so amazing.

May workshops are seasonal and are to be announced. I do offer one on one sessions weather permitting year round.
